Code Of Conduct
The purpose of the Cheerleading organization is to promote participation in and provide unified support for the athletic teams and student body of BVSW while developing a positive relationship among all competitive schools. Cheerleaders should support all athletic programs in the school and play an important role in other activities and contests. Each squad should strive to boost school spirit, promote sportsmanship, develop positive crowd involvement and help spectators achieve the best overall experience from the event, game or activity. Cheerleaders are considered representatives of the Blue Valley School District, its schools, and its individual teams/squads at all times. Members should strive to exhibit moral leadership among their peers, both in and out of school.
Due 1st Day of Tryout Clinics
Physical
All Returners Physicals are Valid until August 1st, a new physical packet must be submitted before August 1st to be eligible for any activities.
All Rookies must either have this current years physical transferred from the middle school to be eligible to participate until August 1st.
If the Cheerleader is new to district, doesn't not have a valid BV Physical on file from current school year or its is August 1st the a New KSHSAA Physical Packet is Required. Physical Exam needs to be done on or after May 1st to be accepted for the following school year.
Financial Agreement
By signing this form, the candidate, and their parent or guardian, verify that they understand the financial obligation associated with being a member of the Blue Valley Southwest Cheerleading Squad.
