2026-27 BVSW Cheerleading Team Tryouts

Here are the important dates and times to be aware of:
 
April 7th - Tuesday : Pre-Tryout Meeting from 6:00-7pm. Fixed Forum at BVSW. 
Required for the cheerleading tryout candidate and 1 parent/guardian to attend

April 12th- Sunday : Videos of the tryout material will be sent for candidates to start learning and practicing at home. Please ensure the email entered below is correct to receive tryout material.

April 14th- Tuesday : Tryout Clinic from 6-8 pm in the BVSW Gym. 
This clinics are for our seniors to teach and coach candidates on tryout materials.

April 15th- Wednesday : Tryout Clinic "Mock Tryout" from 6-8 pm in the BVSW Gym. 
This Clinic "Mock Tryout" allows cheerleaders a practice tryout in the groups they'll be trying out in.

April 16th- Thursday: TRYOUTS!! Start at 5 pm in the BVSW Gym.

Please plan to be available from 4 - 8pm, candidates actual tryout time could fall anywhere in that timeframe. 
Video tryouts will be accepted but strongly advised AGAINST. We prefer candidates to tryout in person and only for extenuating circumstances will a cheerleader be allowed to tryout with a video. There will be a form to request a video tryout if need be - form to be sent at a later date.

April 17th - Friday after 5pm: Teams will be posted on BVSW Cheer Wixsite Webpage.

• Varsity Fitting (1 Guardian & Cheerleader) - Tuesday April 21st @ 6pm

• New Team Meeting (1 Guardian & Cheerleader) - April 28th @ 6PM

• Game Day Camp - All Day - July 12-13th

• UCA Camp - All Day - June 24th- 27th
