2025-26 BVSW Cheerleading Team Tryouts

Here are the important dates and times to be aware of:
 
April 24th - Thursday : Pre-Tryout Meeting from 6:30-7pm. Fixed Forum at BVSW. 
Required for the cheerleading tryout candidate and 1 parent/guardian to attend

April 27th- Sunday : Videos of the tryout material will be sent for candidates to start learning and practicing at home. Please ensure the email entered below is correct to receive tryout material.

April 29th- Tuesday : Tryout Clinic from 6-8 pm in the BVSW Gym. 
This clinics are for our seniors to teach and coach candidates on tryout materials.

April 30th- Wednesday : Tryout Clinic "Mock Tryout" from 6-8 pm in the BVSW Gym. 
This Clinic "Mock Tryout" allows cheerleaders a practice tryout in the groups they'll be trying out in.

May 1st- Thursday: TRYOUTS!! Start at 5 pm in the BVSW Gym.

Please plan to be available from 4 - 8pm, candidates actual tryout time could fall anywhere in that timeframe. 
Video tryouts will be accepted but strongly advised AGAINST. We prefer candidates to tryout in person and only for extenuating circumstances will a cheerleader be allowed to tryout with a video. There will be a form to request a video tryout if need be - form to be sent at a later date.

May 2nd - Friday after 5pm: Teams will be posted on BVSW Cheer Wixsite Webpage. 

 

Dates post Making the Team- Mandatory Attendance

• Varsity Fitting (1 Guardian & Cheerleader) - Friday May 9th @ 5pm

• New Team Meeting (1 Guardian & Cheerleader) - May 13th @ 7PM

• Skills/ Game Day Camp - All Day - 2 Days - TBD

• UCA Camp - All Day - June 26th- 29th
